Brexit Changing the State of US-UK Trade Deal

Here at JORI International Ltd., we strive to keep you informed with the latest news on trade agreements.  Last week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi lead a congressional delegation to Britain and Ireland, in which Brexit was highly discussed. As stated by The Washington Post, back in the day, bilateral U.S.-U.K. talks would be all about counterterrorism, intelligence sharing, NATO, Russia and China and the special relationship. Today, Brexit dominates and on one particular point, Pelosi is emphatic: Don’t mess with the Irish peace accord.  Thus, Pelosi warns there will be no US-UK trade deal if Brexit harms the Irish peace accord.
